As Hidden Ones, regardless if you follow the games, movies, books, series etc and believe that the more occult branch of the games is feasible then yes, you're right. Things have been found in the games that people muse should not have been there, but due to each Assassin's path and destiny, especially Odyssey or Valhalla, and Origins, before Assassin and Templar conflicts' and even during Subject's 16's symbols and other research which WENT WAY OUT THERE, which deal with STYGIAN Beliefs.
Being that this is The Hidden One's quest, we do believe in the games, and we believe in real life research that has also gone into these games. We believe in the Assassin and some of the Templar way(s) and we encourage our site visitors to interact with paranormal research and Assassin things as if THEY were real and will in the future, write up some things we believe anyone, who has enough history - or is an empathic person or being, who can feel through the games and form Hypothesis on their own should understand that playing the games or watching them makes you more Assassin like with each passing day or week. This should also be encouraged, and no one should be ashamed of their knowledge and continue to feel out things in their current society that could keep them safe, in an Assassin or Templar like way. Some of us know that Assassin's existed and were apart of these societies as well as Templar, like the true Black Cross and so on.
I have been told countless times that "ITS NOT REAL! ITS A GAME!" No, it is not, it is based on actual warrior knowledge and history, and it is based on warrior learning and reasoning. These people who answer like this are afraid to live and be an original person with thoughts all on their own, who haven't been told how to live or think. These people also hate women with natural born leadership who are responders, warriors, soldiers and others who can teach and mentor, women who are witches and or pagan and do their own thing and can't be controlled or manipulated. It has a warrior school behind it or it never could be put into the game mode world, similar to Star Wars, with the Jedi and Sith disciplines, and warrior training with the light saber, it's based on real world knowledge of Japanese or other sword fighting techniques and so on.
Can a person really do Parkour? Yes, I've seen it done on YouTube - should you do it or try? ONLY if you know what you are doing! But being like an assassin has nothing to do with parkour. Do I advise people to jump off things into hay bales and things? NO, I don't, but people on YouTube have done these things too. I believe the parkour and jumping off things are a metaphor for how quickly an assassin could change up their scene and disappear in broad day light. Do I believe that this is feasible? Yes, I have done it many times! It has to do with being non-absorbed by your surroundings and being quick or flit of foot. It also has to do with a change of your energy state or form. If you don't feel like a person to be found and could say, feel like a shadow or a garbage dumpster then yes can disappear without a trace.
Free running for instance is a term for being with someone you love and then just like that, hanging out with someone else in a similar fashion with no feelings attached.
